Forbes Real Estate Council Is an Invitation-Only Community for Executives in Real Estate
ATLANTA (Jan. 27, 2021) — David Welch, President and Chief Executive Officer at Robinson Weeks Partners, has been accepted into Forbes Real Estate Council, an invitation-only community for executives in the real estate industry.
Welch was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of his experience. Criteria for acceptance include a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.
“We are honored to welcome David into the community,” said Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils, the collective that includes Forbes Real Estate Business Council. “Our mission with Forbes Councils is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world.”
As an accepted member of the Council, David has access to a variety of exclusive opportunities designed to help him reach peak professional influence. He will connect and collaborate with other respected local leaders in a private forum. David will also be invited to work with a professional editorial team to share his expert insights in original business articles on Forbes.com, and to contribute to published Q&A panels alongside other experts.
Finally, David will benefit from exclusive access to vetted business service partners, membership-branded marketing collateral, and the high-touch support of the Forbes Councils member concierge team.
“I’m thrilled to be included in this circle of forward-thinking, accomplished industry leaders who are shaping the future of their respective sectors,” said Welch. “Forbes Councils enables business leaders from across the world of real estate to come together, share our unique perspectives and learn from each other. I look forward to connecting with my peers and expanding the conversation on emerging trends and issues impacting our industry.”
Welch assumed the role of CEO at Robinson Weeks in 2019 and is responsible for the overall operations and growth of the firm. He has spearheaded several high-profile projects over the course of his 30-plus years in industrial real estate, including the successful development of Gillem Logistics Center, a 1,168-acre master planned park that lies on the site of the former Fort Gillem U.S. Army base. Welch is a board member of the Council for Quality Growth, a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), and active with the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
